An adapted visual correction is the guarantee to offer your child the maximum chance to learn how to read and write without getting discouraged. But this is not enough !
For them to benefit from an optimal visual comfort, a few simple steps need to be taken all day long : in front of the television or the computer display, at school or at breaks…
The aim is to allow them to play, to learn and to move safely, while at the same time preventing the risk of visual tiredness.

When engaged in a long activity involving looking close, the eyes get tired and start blinking.
To relieve them, advise your child to regularly have visual breaks by looking far away. They can also rest them by covering them for a few seconds with the palm of their hand without touching them.
When they are playing outdoors,
they can very well keep their glasses on. It is even recommended if the child has strong short-sightedness or astigmatism. Thus they will not be disturbed in seeing far and will be even more at ease to play with other children. To avoid any injury to the arch of the eyebrow in a fall or an impact, choose plastic frames that are light, thicker and can bend less easily than metal frames.
When they are sitting at their desk,
put a stool under their feet. The more stable they are, the more concentrated they will be !
